We're not doing anything -- we never do anything. We pretty much yell "Happy New Year" at nine when the ball drops in New York and that's it for us, other than being awakened when the fireworks go off.
Zadie has a tooth so close to the surface of her gums that I can see it, which means she's been cranky and clingy all day. Normally, she's a happy baby, and if she wants to be held, she'll come to you. But this photo we took this morning has been typical of today. We'd go "Zadie, come here," and she'd sit there and cry. She is, in fact, crying right now. Which means I'd better go.
Mom and Boompah come home tonight from Catalina Island. Maybe we'll pay them a visit tomorrow.
